Subsequently, choose the material of the deck. People usually stick with wood as compared to plastics, although plastics are much cheaper and can last longer. There are also fiberglass and aluminum decks available, but they are much more expensive.

In the meantime, you will need to choose the concavity of the deck, which refers to how raised its nose, tail, and sides are. The more concave it is, the more difficult to use, so if you are a beginner, you would want to go for a flatter one.

After that, you can choose the trucks. The size of the trucks are usually between 4 ¾ " and 5 ½ " inches, where wider ones will allow you a more stable landing and the radius to turn would also be smaller.

Lastly, you will need to choose the wheels. Wheels are usually made out of polyurethane, and come in sizes between 52 mm to 60 mm. The smaller wheels give bigger control because they are lighter. Do make sure that the wheels are round and even so that you will have a smooth skating experience. Decide and install, and there you have your very cheap complete skateboard.
